Low Carb Peppermint & Chocolate Slices


Green Layer

  • 1 avocado
  • 60ml xylitol
  • 90ml coconut oil, melted
  • 2 to 3 drops peppermint extract, depending on taste
  • Pinch of salt

Chocolate Layer

  • 120m coconut oil
  • 50ml xylitol
  • 120ml cocoa powder
  • 5ml vanilla extract


  1. Line a 10cm x 15cm baking tray with baking paper.
  2. For the green layer, combine all the ingredients using a hand blender until it starts to set.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in the baking tray.
  4. For the chocolate layer, combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
  5. Place over a low heat and stir until the xylitol is dissolved completely.
  6. Leave to cool down until room temperature.
  7. Pour over the green layer.
  8. Place in the fridge for 1 hour before slicing into squares.
